Week 35!!

She is the size of a coconut!!

 

How far along? 35 weeks! 5 left to go!

Baby Clothes? She has everything she needs and its all washed and hung up!!
Stretch Marks? ALL OVER THE PLACE!! They are taking over my belly...
Best Moment this week?  Getting the dresser and finishing her baby bag!!
Miss anything?  Cookie dough!!
Movement? All over the place. Its like she's tap dancing..
Food Cravings? Fresh fruit..
Any new changes to nursery? Lots!! We put some more stuff on the walls and got her dresser in place. ALSO!! Got her name decal on the wall and it looks so good..
Anything making you queasy or sick? No.
Newest item you've bought? My boppy pillow and her curtain rod.

Labor signs? Cramping and some small contractions/braxton hicks
Belly Button in or out? Half and half
Wedding rings on or off? Off.
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy
Looking forward to:  Her finally getting here!!

Week 34!!

She is the size of a butternut squash!!

  

How far along?  34 weeks! 6 left to go!

Baby Clothes? She is set. We got all the clothes we need from the baby shower.
Stretch Marks? I counted them last night and I have 12!! Lather me up in lotion please..
Best Moment this week?  My baby shower.. It was one of the most amazing things i've been to in a while. I felt so loved and so blessed to have everyone there celebrating Brooklynn.
Miss anything?  Not really. I'm loving life right now.
Movement? Yes she is moving a whole lot.
Food Cravings? Necterines.
Any new changes to nursery? Everything!! We got princess decals for her walls from Bridgette, and I organized everything and put it all away. I also washed and clean her clothes, sheets, and receiving blankets. Lots of work!!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.
Newest item you've bought? Chris got her bottles for me yesterday. He really knows the way to an expecting mothers heart!
Labor signs? Small contractions, but nothing to severe.
Belly Button in or out? Half and half.
Wedding rings on or off? Off.
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy and excited!
Looking forward to:  Her arrival. I had my amazing shower on Sunday and now we can't wait to meet our baby girl!!

Week 33!!

She is the size of a Durian Fruit(Yucky!! Hope she is cuter then that fruit)!

This week was quite rewarding. Chris and I got to go see my grandmother who hadn't seen me since the exciting news!! We went on a trip to Jo-Ann's fabric and she helped me pick out the kind I wanted for her Bow Holder!! I can't wait to make it and send her lots of pictures. Plus, she will be coming down in June to meet Miss Brooklynn. We also went to the doctor and had a fun ultra sound done!! Yup.. She's defiantly still a girl!!!!

How far along?  33 weeks! Holy moly. We are getting down to the wire...
Baby Clothes? Yes!! I need to stop buying them for her!!
Stretch Marks? Yup.. And they are SO itchy!!
Best Moment this week?  Going to see my grandmother and having her help me pick out some fabric for her baby room!!
Miss anything?  Not that I can think of. Maybe not being as tired.
Movement? YUP!!!!! And its really starting to hurt.
Food Cravings? Not really. Now that I had my grandmas french toast, I kind of want some of that!
Any new changes to nursery? Not really, but we did receive her activity mat from Aunt Debbi!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not right now.
Newest item you've bought? I got her a baby box to put all of her keepsakes in. Super cute with butterfly's.
Labor signs?  I maybe having tiny contractions and i feel them low. Ugh
Belly Button in or out? Half and half.
Wedding rings on or off? Off. That will be my goal after baby. To get back down to when it fit!!
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy and excited!
Looking forward to:  BABY SHOWER!! So excited I could burst!!

Week 32!!

Brooklynn is the size of a Squash!

How far along?  32 weeks! This week FLEW by!
Baby Clothes? A ton! She officially has more then me. We just recieved some more from someone at work!
Stretch Marks? Two.. Was hoping to move past those.
Best Moment this week?  Getting our car seat and stroller put together!!
Miss anything?  Cookie Dough
Movement? ALL THE TIME!!
Food Cravings? Frozen Yogurt with mini chips and gummy bears.. Yummm
Any new changes to nursery? Put up the last of her wall decals and super excited to get more!!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Thinking about what I just ate.
Newest item you've bought? I bought baskets for her closet and a picture frame for her bow holder.
Labor signs?  More braxton hicks.
Belly Button in or out? In and a little painful to the touch.
Wedding rings on or off? Off. :(
Happy or moody most of the time? Moody..

Ribbon Wrapped Letter Tutorial

A while back, I wanted to make something for Brooklynn's door. I looked online and was going to buy a cute sign that said it was her room, but then I realized I could make something for less money!! So when my mom and I went to Sacramento for shopping, I found a large B letter and came up with this brilliant idea!!

Materials

 Letter

Ribbon

Glue Gun w/ extra sticks

Decorations

Scissors

Begin by gluing ribbon along the outter and inner edges of the letter. This helps in case you dont cover it all with ribbon, so you don't see the color underneath.

Next, you are going to start wrapping the ribbon around the whole letter. I would hot glue my ribbon on the back so you don't see the glue. Then continue to wrap the ribbon until you've covered the whole letter:

After you cover the letter competly, get your decorations ready and glue them on where you desire:

After that, glue ribbon onto back to be able to hang:

And you have your final product!! I LOVE how hers turned out. Post photos if you try it!!



Week 31!!

Brooklynn is the size of a Pineapple!!

How far along?  31 weeks! Getting down to the wire!
Maternity clothes? Yes.. Now I need to focus on buying her clothes instead of me!!
Stretch Marks? I have a strange purple mark below my belly button that I think might be one.
Best Moment this week?  The look on my moms face when she heard her heartbeat for the first time. Also, finding out that my protruding belly button freaks my husband out :)
Miss anything?  Wine.. Yup. That's pretty much it.
Movement? Yes! I've been doing my kick counts and she has been moving ten times in 1 minute!! That's crazy..
Food Cravings? Only the things I see and can't stop thinking about.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope. But I can feel it starting to.
Newest item you've bought? I haven't bought anything. But soon I will need to start stocking up on Dreft.
Gender? Beautiful baby girl!
Labor signs?  A little cramping and back pain but nothing out of the normal.
Belly Button in or out? In and a little painful to the touch.
Wedding rings on or off? Off. :(
Happy or moody most of the time? Super moody, but then I just look down at my belly.
Looking forward to:  Getting her nursery finalized and packing her hospital bag!!!

Week 30!!

She is the size of a Cucumber!!

 This week is a huge one!!!! And the past week went so well, except for being a little uncomfortable.. My mom and I took a trip to Sacramento and got my girly baby bag and Brooklynns first fitted sheet for her crib. I also got a lot of maternity clothes that I realized I can wear after baby too!!

How far along?  30 weeks!! Only ten left to go!!!!!
Maternity clothes? Yup! And even got some new ones..
Stretch Marks? Not yet.
Best Moment this week?  There were a couple... Having Bridgette feel her move for the first time, and buying my girly diaper bag!
Miss anything?  Being comfortable.
Movement? Yup! And getting to see my belly move so much more. It actually shakes my body now.
Food Cravings? Dr. Pepper
Anything making you queasy or sick? Only when I think back on what I just ate, I get a little nauseas.
Newest item you've bought? I bought my baby bag and her fitted sheet for her crib.
Gender? Girl!
Labor signs?  Not yet. But I am feeling pressure down there and it hurts sometimes. 
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? Off.
Happy or moody most of the time? Moody.....
Looking forward to:  Morning snuggles with her.
