Week 38!!

She is the size of a Pumpkin!!

How far along? Brooklynn is 38 weeks!! 2 more to go...

Baby Clothes? They are all cleaned and hung up. Now we just need an adorable baby to put them in!!

Stretch Marks? Yup! I've even discovered a bright purple one on the top of my belly. :) They are my tiger stripes!!

Best Moment this week?  Finding out that she has dropped!! We are one step closer to meeting our baby girl!

Miss anything?  Not really. I've been sleeping my whole life. I'm ready to not sleep and be up every hour.

Movement? YES!! And now they are REALLY hurting.

Food Cravings? BBQ Chips

Any new changes to nursery? Nope! Just waiting to fill it with cries, giggles and snuggles.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Thinking about the food I just ate.

Newest item you've bought? Nothing this week.

Labor signs? Some pain down there and small contractions.

Belly Button in or out? Half and half

Wedding rings on or off? Off
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy but uncomfortable.
Looking forward to:  Those first contractions that tell me I'm actually in labor!

Next week will be 39 weeks!! Holy moly!!

Week 37!!

She is the size of a Wintermelon!!

How far along? 37 weeks... Brooklynn is full term!

Baby Clothes? All ready for her!

Stretch Marks? Oh ya.. Super itchy too

Best Moment this week?  Probably getting my first prental massage. It was so relaxing and comfortable. Plus, he was super nice!! Also, we had our maternity shoot on saturday!!

Miss anything?  Sleeping on my belly

Movement? All the time

Food Cravings? Fruit and Dr. Pepper

Any new changes to nursery? Putting the finishing touches on it but pretty much the same

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope

Newest item you've bought? A wetbag for her diapers

Labor signs? Contractions that were 5 minutes apart, but they only lasted 15 minutes. And radiating back pain.

Belly Button in or out? Half and half

Wedding rings on or off? Off :(
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy but fiesty
Looking forward to:  Not being pregnant anymore and having her in my arms. I don't even care if it hurts anymore. Bring it on!!

Next week I will have only 2 weeks left till she is here.. Still so much to do!!

Week 36!!

She is the size of a Honeydew!!

How far along? 36 weeks! Almost there!

Baby Clothes? All clean and ready for her arrival!

Stretch Marks? They have arrived... But I got great lotion and have been using it night and day..

Best Moment this week?  Having the opportunity to go on a shopping spree and buy every last item we need!! We have everything now and couldn't be more excited..

Miss anything?  Not having a jabbing pain on my side when she hits me with her elbow...

Movement? Oh ya... So intense.

Food Cravings? None.

Any new changes to nursery? Oh ya!! We have everything and now just need to organize it all.

Anything making you queasy or sick? No.

Newest item you've bought? The list is too long, but we got all her diapers(doing cloth) and her pack and play and so much more.

Labor signs? The other night I buckled over and could not get up or walk and was having shooting pains down there. I feel like it's getting too close for comfort.

Belly Button in or out? Half and half

Wedding rings on or off? Off. I had to graduate to an even bigger ring. :(
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy but uncomfortable.
Looking forward to:  Meeting our little tumbler!!

Baby Shower

BABY SHOWER!!

On Sunday March 24, I had the most beautiful shower. I chose my dress to wear about three months ago. With a few slight alerations, it was perfect. My good friend Bridgette and her mom came up on saturday and got to see the house and the baby room! Gracielynn is getting so big!! I got there around 1pm and my friend Lauren was there with her love bug little boy, Evan and she surprised my with doing my hair for the day!! She is a goddess when it comes to hair!! We had yummy punch, coffee and the cutest cake!! There were so many women there and so many babies!! We played two games, where you had to guess the size of my belly with ribbon and also the clothspin game. You were not allowed to say 'Baby, Girl or Purple'. My mom originally had a list of 8 words, but we thought to narrow it down a bit. We had so many beautiful gifts to open and everything that was given was so thoughtful and amazing. When it finally started to thin out and people started leaving, we could take a breath and enjoy an extra piece(or two) of cake!! I felt so loved and it made me feel so good to know that everyone is so excited to meet Brookylnn, as am I!! I love my mommy so much and am so grateful towards her for all her hard work.
